Hope International School

Hope International School (HIS) is a state of the art Bilingual School located in the heart of Kisangani, North of DRC in Tshopo Province situated on the banks of Tshopo River. HIS offers an integrated International program of Belgium/Congolese from K-12 with a more practical approach to equip the 21st Century learner. Our objective is to prepare competent global citizens who are all round.

Why can I chose it for my kids?

HIS would be the school of your choice because of the various and unique activities that are incorporated into our program. Academic performance is not the aspect of education in the 21st Century hence the wide range of activities including creative arts, music, sports that nurture talents that build a well rounded global learner and critical thinkers. HIS has an equipped Science Lab, Computer Lab, Library, sports complex, swimming pool that facilitates learning.

Why is it called Hope international school?

HIS is a school that was founded by Tshiba Foundation which believes in empowering each individual by giving them hope and enabling them to believe in themselves and giving the children a chance to have a feel of international education without having to travel. The choice to be in Kisangani is mainly because of the peacefulness of the area.
